How do you host a sex toy party (and what do you get for being a host)?

Believe it or not, it’s right! (Although some hostesses seem to think ‘guests’ should be listed under ‘optional’ as well.) The only thing I might disagree with is “invite your adventurous and open-minded friends.” Hmm…so how do you know which of your friends is ‘adventurous’ in the bedroom or not? If they invited you over for a menage a trois, then yes, she definitely is a candidate for an invite. But what about that quiet girl at the office who dresses demurely and is so sweet she almost makes your teeth hurt? Invite her too! Ever hear of ‘lady on the street, tramp in the bed’? What do the people you know about your bedroom play? Exactly.

The comment about inviting more people to get more free products is exactly right. Rule of thumb is that half of the people you invite will actually be able to attend. So if you invite 20 people, you’ll likely get 8-12. So let’s say 10 people show up. On average, ladies spend about $70. So, let’s make it easy and say 10 show, that’s $700. That means you get $70 to spend on your personal wish list. Plus you get a free gift from me AND parties of $700 or more get entered in a drawing for a $500 VISA card from Pure Romance! I often run specials, as well, for more credits (like 20% hostess credits for a few special dates I have left) and always give away at least one toy at the party.

The comment I hear at every single party was, “It wasn’t what I expected. It was a lot of fun and not uncomfortable at all!” or something very similar. If you’ve never been to our parties, or you’ve been to another company’s party, you will likely be surprised at how easy and fun they are. I always cater to my hostess and crowd - wild it up or tone it down accordingly.

I also hear a lot that Pure Romance’s products are a better quality than some of our competitors and the prices are much more reasonable. The biggest issue the girls have at the parties is trying to decide on which of the things they fell in love with they want to buy! There’s so much to choose from: bath bubbles, books, games, massage candle, hot heart massager, miracle oil, pheromone cologne, lotions, lubes and toys. Have a party to get more or be a consultant and get it all, and a lot of extra money!
